Adding to the distinctiveness of MAMAKEISH is its CEO, Keisha Jiwon Kang, who herself underwent seven years of training as an idol and was on the path to debuting in a group. Leveraging her firsthand experience, Keisha imparts unparalleled knowledge to students, setting MAMAKEISH apart as a place where your "Dreams Become Reality."

MAMAKEISH began its journey in 2006 as a small group of K-pop lessons, at a time when K-pop training was virtually unknown in North America. Built on years of hands-on experience and deep industry understanding, this early foundation shaped what MAMAKEISH would become.
In 2018, MAMAKEISH KPOP ACADEMY was officially established as North America’s first dance academy with a primary focus on K-pop, setting a new standard for K-pop education and artist development.
Today, MAMAKEISH continues to provide structured training, performance opportunities, and a clear pathway for students who dream of growing as artists in the global K-pop industry.
